ColourNext 2014: Thematic Installation For The Colour Trend Forecast Story
Two is better than one, was the thought behind this installation, created by Trapeze, as a part of a colour forecast themes selected by Asian Paints for ColourNext '14. The execution of this installation was done by Digital Jalebi.
The concept of the installation revolves around lighting up a central cluster of lights. That cluster is controlled by the lighting up of clouds which are connected to the speed of tandem cycles arranged around the installation. As the cyclist pedals faster, the intensity and speed of the light trail on the respective cloud increases, triggering the central light structure. More cyclists leads to faster and brighter lights.
