ColourNext 2014: Thematic Installation For The Colour Trend Forecast Story
An installation celebrating the Urban Indian Woman was created by Trapeze, as a part of four colour forecast themes, selected by Asian Paints for ColourNext '14.
The stoic forms of the mirror polished steel totems were designed and were placed amongst soft, fluid yarn braids in the colours of the theme. Inspirational quotes about and by influential women were engraved on the totems, inviting the visitors to read and further grasp the concept of the colour story.
I also assisted in the detailing and visualisation of the installation and the fabrication of the totems. The image below shows the 3D visualization of the designed totems.
